Rising Above the Surface of Cyber Threats

Cyber threats are lurking beneath the surface seeking new victims as generative AI and emerging attack patterns attempt to strike K-12 institutions.  MIT released a study showing 80% of ransomware attacks now utilize artificial intelligence as threat actors seek to transform and capitalize on new technology advancements.  Meanwhile, social engineering attacks have rapidly advanced targeting district executives, staff and students with highly customized messaging and difficult to detect methods.

In this session, we’ll explore uncharted depths to learn how cyber criminals are using the dark web, dark AI and open-source platforms to maximize their nefarious potential.  We will also discuss best practice leadership strategies to work with your IT department and keep your organization safe.
